I signed my contract this afternoon. A week from today 24 little third graders will walk into my classroom. I am excited about this new opportunity.
For the next few weeks life will be crazy, so I won't be posting or commenting, but I will still be running (as long as my knee will allow it).

Good luck, April Anne! I think the kids will be very happy with their new teacher.
WONDERFUL!!!! They are the luckiest little third graders. They'll eat you up (and you them, I am sure).
Good luck and be brave. They're only a little smarter than you, unlike the fifth graders who are a lot smarter. Just ask them. (Be glad they're not 7th graders!)
