Blast from the Past

Since I don’t have any running news to report, I thought I would post about my interview.

Yesterday I walked into a conference room for an interview and I immediately heard, “Is that my little april anne all grown up?” My kindergarten teacher was on the interview committee! What are the chances of that? It’s a good thing I was a good little girl growing up. :)

Sounds like that was a good thing for you. I don't know if it would make me more or less nervous. How do you address her? Mrs. So-and-so or by her first name?

That's outstanding!

But it's got to be surreal, in a way. Moreso for your teacher, I imagine.

Very cool. Kindergarten teachers are amazing. I ran into my kindergarten teacher in a store about 10 years ago. Not only did she know which family I came from, but she knew which daughter I was. She called me by name! AND she asked how Linda, Carol and Bobby were too. Crazy. I hope the interview went well for both of you.
