If you have any desire to become a teacher.....don't move to Connecticut.
I just turned in my 107 page, size 11 font, 1.5 spaced portfolio to the State Department of Education with hopes that the state will renew my certification next year.
I guess that's the price you have to pay to have the best job in the world. :)
No running news. :( No yoga news. :( I need to run. I miss it. I really do!

That's a thesis, not an application. Oh my!! Wouldn't they rather have you in the classroom than writing that?? I guess not.

i'd say come to california and teach, but they're having budget issues and laying teachers off. really, teaching is a labor of love. those kids are lucky to have you in their classroom!
