Spring is on its way!

I caught a glimpse of spring this week. The weather was sunny and a little warmer than usual. It will not be long before the daffodils pop out of the ground and then I will back on the trails again.

I can already imagine it. I will drive home, change into my "spring time" running gear (no layers!), run like the wind, enjoy each step along the way and "practice" my new running form. At the end of the day my ChiRunning book will be placed on my nightstand with the bookmarker moving a little further along each night. My refrigerator will be full of fresh veggies and fruit which I will love to eat and my triscuit, cheese, and doughnut enemies will stop tempting me. I can see it all so clearly! (It's all about the positive visualization for now.) :)

Happy Birthday Dianna!

No layers! Say YEAH to no damn layers! So sick of layers. Hey, don't get me wrong, I like the lycra now and the running jacket is cool, but I want my shorts and running shirt. So much easier and less bulky.

I guess I should be glad I live in Southern California. Can't imagine walking around in 5 layers, leave alone running in them. You guys are made of stronger stuff!

Cute, cute Easter pics, and an absolutely great weekend. We've got daffodil starting to poke up all over the yard.

Though I may have head over to Colchester to my favorite bunch - there's a state Wildlife Management Area with a couple of abandoned yards with tons of naturalized daffodils...

It's almost here...by Wednesday, we'll be in shorts!

Thanks for the b-day wishes, including my e-card!

Missed you at the race this weekend...it's never the same when you're no there.

I got mud on my sneakers yesterday...the trails are ours to take!
