Back to 4th Grade

This past week I started student teaching in a fourth grade classroom (for the next 14 weeks). I leave my house at 7:30 and arrive home by 5:00, except for the two days when I have night classes at the university. This means I will not have a lot of time for blogging (Boo!) But, I will do my best to catch up on the weekends. I love being with the fourth graders and every day I feel more confident that teaching is one of the greatest and most rewarding professions.

Good luck with your training as you continue to run through the cold, bitter winter. Spring is almost on its way!

Sunday - 50 minutes (exercise video)
Monday - none
Tuesday - 26.43 minutes

WAY TO GO APRILANNE! I am so proud of you for all your running. You rock girlie! I could never keep up with it!

Hopefully i'll get back into walking this spring. I have no desire to be out there now, in the freezing cold weather! AGAIN-YOU ROCK! :-)

Enjoy your student teaching experience! I am sure you will find it very rewarding. We are at the start of our semester at the small liberal arts college where I teach, and the beginning of the semester always seems filled with so much promise... On the best days, teaching gives me a high similar to running. On the worst, well... it's like a bad run, you just forget about it and look forward to the next day! :)

That's got to be a really exciting age to teach. No sassyness yet and lots of excitement for new things! Very cool! Good luck!

thats cool. i loved 4th grade :)
i'm kind of a wuss when it comes to running outside in the cold, you are much braver than i. usually i hit the treadmill until its at least 50's or 60's. although i've never trained for a race on the treadmill so this should be interesting!
