5 miles - 49 minutes
Pathetic, I know......but in my defense it was hot and humid.
I couldn't allow those numbers to stay in my training log, so later in the day I headed out on the roads again, this time to the local 5K 'Run Fun' and my pace was much faster. A little 'friendly competition' goes a long way. :)

I know what you mean about competition. David and I were running this morning, and I wanted to quit. He said he was going to power up the hill and I could if I really wanted to. Oh, Ok. I'll show him. I did:)
Hey, in the humidity, you just get in the miles and don't "sweat" the time. Good times will come in the fall.
Yet, I know the competitive spirit lives on!!!

5 miles in 49 minutes is a very excellent time for me! but it could be pathetic becaus you're young.
